Membership in the Salt Water Show Series grants you access to more than just discounts and prizes.

 

This is YOUR show, YOUR time to learn, YOUR chance to gain experience!

 

Even if you don’t care about placing, awards, and points standings, you are still in the right place.  We strive to provide the Local Laid-Back Learning environment and feedback that all new riders and horses need when trying to learn or practice new disciplines.  Veteran riders and horses need to keep skills sharp.  Join the classes where our friendly and knowledgeable judges and staff will help you learn and fine tune your horsemanship skills.

 

Your single Series Membership carries through ALL shows, and points earned in ALL divisions for the year; you start accruing division requirements once you are a member!  Attending three shows in the same division with the same horse start your eligibility for qualifying for the Championship Show.

Shows, Obstacle Challenges, and even Clinics can all provide unique opportunities to learn and compete.

 

Obstacle Challenge groups - Attempt a few obstacles on a trail or just ride along with a group of more experienced riders to help gain the confidence you need to compete for yourself at the next Challenge.

 

Show Teams - The Saltwater Show Series promotes TEAMWORK. Members of this Series are encouraged to form show teams with a minimum of three horse/rider combos.

Teams can span divisions. All points are accrued and averaged at the end of the Show for Highpoint in addition to individual Highpoint.

The Fine Print

 

Individual Membership $15

 

Youth Membership $5 (available to youth 17 and under as of Jan 2018)

 

Family Membership $25 (includes one family up to 5 members at same address)

 

A rider and horse may become a Member of the Series at any point during the show season; however, the rider and/or horse will not begin to accrue show requirements for the Championship Show unless the rider is a member of the Series.

 

Your single Series Membership covers ALL shows, and points/class/show requirements earned in ALL divisions.

 

You must compete in THREE shows in the same division on the same horse to be eligible for Championship Show.

Member Points

 

Points are only accrued for Members and for Open Shows after the date the Membership was purchased.  Points are assigned per rider/horse combination based on the following scale:

 

1st = 6 points

2nd = 5 points

3rd = 4 points

4th = 3 points

5th = 2 points

6th = 1 points

 

Points are totaled for all classes placed for the entire show.  Points do not include Obstacle Challenges or clinics.  End Of Year Points goals and events will be announced at the beginning of the calendar year.
